Eksanti Amalia Kusuma Wardhani

Eksanti is a Junior Researcher from 2024 – present. Eksanti is responsible for assisting the research team in compiling, implementing, disseminating and reporting research results. Eksanti completed his Bachelor's degree program in Management and Public Policy at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 2023.

 

Before working on PRAKARSA (January 2024), Eksanti has worked as a research consultant at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Southeast Asia on women's and labor market issues. Eksanti is also a research consultant at The PRAKARSA by helping carry out research in the fields of economics to sustainable development. Apart from being a research consultant, Eksanti has also worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as an internship researcher in the Department of Politics and Social Change with a focus on electoral political issues.

 

Currently, Eksanti is exploring various issues in more depth to find the focus of the issues he will deal with later. Even so, Eksanti still has an interest in issues of gender and intersectionality, employment, electoral politics, political dynasties, and issues of poverty and inequality.

 

Eksanti has experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and aspires to become a researcher who is skilled in using both methods. Eksanti's final assignment research using qualitative methods regarding the representation of women and political dynasties in legislative institutions with the title "Patriarchal Hegemony in Fulfilling the 30 Percent Women's Quota in Electoral Political Contestations: The Case of Sumenep Regency in 2019" succeeded in obtaining a research grant from the Alicahya Foundation and Balairung Network Plus .
