Farhan Medio Yudantyo

Farhan Medio Yudantyo is Program Assistant and Research on Economic and Fiscal Policy since 2022 – present. Farhan is responsible for assisting the implementation of programs and research, particularly on economic, fiscal and economic welfare policy issues. 

 

Farhan completed his undergraduate program in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 2021. 

 

Before joining PRAKARSA (November 2022), Farhan has worked as an evaluation and monitoring staff at the Ministry of National Planning and Development (PPN)/Bappenas with a focus on issues related to regional development policies. In addition, Farhan was a Research Assistant at the Center for Islamic Economics and Business Studies (PKEBS) UGM with the main task of assisting research projects and managing training programs. 

 

Farhan has an interest and concern for development economic issues, particularly related to gender inequality and poverty. Farhan has research experience using a quantitative method approach. 

 

His interest in development issues also encouraged Farhan to put his thoughts into writing and participate in several conferences. Writing on the issue of gender inequality in the economic aspect, which was awarded at an international conference organized by Bank Indonesia and the Fiscal Policy Agency. Most recently, a scientific article entitled “Do mosques use Islamic bank services? Evidence from Indonesia” was published in the International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance.
