Multidimensional Poverty Profile of Nangroe Aceh Darussalam Province

In general, multidimensional poverty in Aceh Province has shown a significant decline in 2012-2021. The multidimensional poverty rate fell from 62,76% in 2012 to 19,09% in 2021. A significant decrease occurred in rural areas with a decrease of 73,40% in 2012 to 24,27% in 2021.

For a decade, the multidimensional poverty rate has decreased significantly in 2014-2015, namely 55,62% to 46,86%. This significant decrease occurred at the village level with a decrease of up to 9,06 points. The multidimensional poverty rate in general in Aceh Province continues to decline, but the urban areas in 2013-2014 experienced an increase from 28,47% to 29,74%, this increase did not have a broad effect on the AKM in Aceh Province because the AKM in rural areas in the same year experienced a decrease of more than 4 points.

Multidimensional poverty index which describes the percentage and intensity of multidimensional poverty. SMEs in Aceh have decreased from 0,32 in 2012 to 0,08 in 2021 or decreased by 0,24 points. The biggest decline occurred in 2014 to 2015, namely a decrease of 0,05 points, the smallest decline occurred in 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 with a decrease of 0,01 points each.
