This report presents an analysis of the calculation of Indonesia's Multidimensional Poverty Index (IKM) for the period 2015 to 2018 which focuses on the exposure of the national multidimensional poverty profile and each province in Indonesia. Poverty profile analysis includes the number of poor people, poverty severity, and multidimensional poverty index. This report aims to provide updates on the condition of Indonesia's poverty in the 2015–2018 period as well as to compare the condition of multidimensional poverty with the previous period through the development of national poverty indicators in Indonesia.

Research based on data from the 2015–2018 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS). The calculation of Indonesian SMEs uses the Alkire-Foster method by calculating deprivation in the dimensions of health, education, and living standards, but modifies several indicators to suit the Indonesian context.
