INDONESIA MULTIDIMENSIONAL POVERTY INDEX 2015–2018

This report presents an analysis of the calculation of Indonesia's Multidimensional Poverty Index (IKM) for the period 2015 to 2018 which focuses on exposure to the multidimensional poverty profile of the national and each province in Indonesia. The poverty profile analysis includes the number of poor people, the severity of poverty, and the multidimensional poverty index. This report aims to provide Update or updating information on Indonesia's poverty conditions in the 2015–2018 period as well as to compare multidimensional poverty conditions with the previous period through the development of national poverty indicators in Indonesia.

Research based on data from the 2015–2018 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS). The calculation of Indonesian SMEs uses the Alkire-Foster method by calculating deprivation in the dimensions of health, education, and living standards, but modifies several indicators to suit the Indonesian context.
