2017 was a year of network expansion in our work. In 2017, Perkumpulan Prakarsa was involved in collaborations in various international and national networks to strengthen knowledge production and sharing, evidence-based policy advocacy and organizational financing. We hope that these steps will continue to grow in the years to come so that Prakarsa's capacity, identity and contribution as a research institution in generating welfare ideas and policy innovations will be even better. In addition, 2017 was a milestone for Prakarsa for the first time in establishing programmatic collaboration with an international think tank, the Health Policy Center, University of Illinois at Chicago.
By paying more attention to knowledge production and sharing and engagement especially on fiscal policy, social policy, and sustainable development policy issues, Prakarsa is committed to connecting knowledge with policy.
