Jakarta, The PRAKARSA - Batch II Policy Analysis and Policy Brief Writing Training initiated by The PRAKARSA together with the Institute for Social and Political Research and Development (LPPSP) University of Indonesia was successfully held. Located in Building H, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UI, this training was held for 2 days, Wednesday-Thursday (28-29/2/2024).
On this occasion the participants received material from four main presenters, namely Professor of Social Welfare at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UI Bambang Shergi Laksmono, Lecturer in Social Welfare at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Budi Dharma, Executive Director of the PRAKARSA Ah Maftuchan, and Deputy Director Yhe PRAKARSA Victoria Fanggidae. The material presented includes policy analysis, actor analysis, and writing policy briefs.
The second batch of training this time was attended by participants from various backgrounds such as academics, government and civil society organizations (CSOs). Apart from providing material, participants also had the opportunity for a post-training coaching session so that it was possible to produce output in the form of a policy brief document that was in accordance with the focus of the issues of interest to each participant.
The Executive Director PRAKARSA In his closing remarks, he hoped, "Hopefully this kind of training can continue to be held so that it can help more institutions and development actors in Indonesia to be able to produce policy brief documents as material for better policy interventions," concluded Maftuchan.
