The Hague, Netherlands, The PRAKARSA – Victoria Fanggidae, Executive Director of The PRAKARSA, was present as one of the speakers at the international event “Bridge for Change: Building Sustainable Futures” held at the Museon Omniversum, The Hague on December 2, 2025. The event, which was attended by practitioners, policymakers, and change agents from all over the world, aimed to reflect on five years of the “Power of Voices” partnership and design future advocacy steps to create a fairer, greener, and more sustainable value chain.
Victoria Fanggidae actively participated in various key sessions, from the opening panel to thematic discussions. She shared perspectives from Indonesia and the experiences of civil society organizations in driving systemic change through multi-stakeholder collaboration.
Victoria was the first speaker in the Morning Plenary Session, titled "Looking Back at Five Years of Power of Voices Partnerships." This session aimed to frame the day's discussion by reflecting on the achievements and lessons learned from government-civil society partnerships. In her presentation, Victoria emphasized the importance of collaboration and networking in addressing advocacy challenges.
"The importance of collaboration and networking in facing advocacy challenges for policymakers and the private sector," he said.
He said that the opening session focused on uncovering two things: how government-civil society collaboration can effectively drive systemic change, and how these lessons can position partner organizations in looking toward the future of collaboration.

In addition to speaking, Victoria was also actively involved as a participant in Learning Lab 4: Gender Justice in Fair Value Chains, where she explored the successes and challenges of civil society advocacy in championing women's rights, particularly in less developed countries (LDCs) with strong patriarchal cultures. "This group provided input on the stages of integrating gender analysis into project development," she said.
In the closing session of the Afternoon Panel: Beyond the Power of Voices: Lessons for Future Advocacy Work on Fair and Green Value Chains, Victoria again engaged in a discussion on the future of advocacy work. This session aimed to translate lessons learned into concrete strategies for sustainable impact. "The group provided input on CSO advocacy work with the private sector," she explained.
The Participation PRAKARSA in this “Bridge for Change” not only strengthens the organization’s position on the global stage, but also brings home valuable learnings, strategic networks, and real opportunities to strengthen advocacy work in Indonesia towards a just and sustainable economy.
Bridge for Change itself is an activity initiated by the strategic partnership alliance FAIR for ALL, Fair, Green & Global Alliance, RECLAIM Sustainability!, and STITCH. Over the past five years, this partnership funded under the Power of Voices framework has supported more than 1.000 civil society organizations in 80 countries to advance fair and green trade, strengthen corporate accountability, and encourage inclusive business approaches.
