The PRAKARSA is a think-tank that produces and shares information, knowledge, and policy recommendations in the social, economic, and sustainable development fields as well as various topics related to welfare issues. We are actively involved in strengthening the evidence-based policymaking process with civil society organizations, government, parliament, and corporations. We work at the local, national, regional, and global level.

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT OFFICER

As a Social Media & Content, you will work under supervision of the Media & Communication Specialist to support the publication of research products, programs, policy campaigns, and other activities, with the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage PRAKARSA’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and website.
  • Proactively provide ideas, concepts, and social media content.
  • Process PRAKARSA’s research results, knowledge products, and press releases into easy-to-understand, interactive, and engaging social media content.
  • Create design layouts and visual elements for routine and non-routine publications, such as annual reports, policy briefs, books, holiday flyers, and institutional presentation materials with professional visual standards.
  • Create visual assets for seminars, public discussions, activities, or press conferences (such as digital banners, e-flyers, or backdrops).
  • Perform comprehensive documentation functions (photography and videography) for every institutional agenda for archiving and publication purposes.
  • Produce audio-visual content in podcast format.
  • Ensure Brand Consistency by maintaining all visual outputs in alignment with The PRAKARSA’s identity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Visual Communication Design (DKV), Communication Studies (majoring in Advertising/Public Relations/Media), Journalism, or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, social media management, or digital communication.
  • Priority will be given to those who have worked or have work experience in NGOs, development partners, international organizations, agencies, corporations, or as freelancers.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) or other professional design tools.
  • Capable of translating program language, research, and numerical data into engaging and communicative visuals.
  • Have a keen eye for detail (typography, material selection, color, and accuracy of data writing in designs).
  • Possess a portfolio demonstrating the ability to create infographics, social media content, or formal/academic document layouts.

MONITORING, EVALUATION, AND LEARNING (MEL) ASSISTANT

As a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Assistant you will work to support the Program and Research-Knowledge Management Unit in monitoring project implementation, tracking results, managing data, facilitating learning processes, and contributing to evidence-based program improvement.

The requirements of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Assistant are as follows:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, public policy, development studies, social sciences, environmental studies, management or related disciplines.
  • Strong interest, knowledge, and understanding of monitoring, evaluation, learning, and sustainable development issues.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, or project management. Highly motivated fresh graduates with relevant internship or organization experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data collection, data management, data cleaning, data analysis, consolidating, and reviewing reports from multiple programs or project teams.
  • Able to prepare monitoring reports, evaluation reports, dashboards, and learning products.
  • Knowledge of results-based management, theory of change, logframe development, and indicator tracking is an advantage.
  • Experience working with NGOs, research institutions, development agencies, or donor-funded projects is an advantage.
  • Having database management capabilities, international experience, and published writing are an advantage
