Policy Brief 03 – Workforce Welfare and Social Protection: Towards a Better Quality of Life for Workers

RECOMMENDATION:

1. Improvement of the national education system and link and match between education output and the labor market.
2. Improving the competitiveness of the labor sector within the framework of the ASEAN Economic Community.
3. Improvements to the wage system that are oriented towards improving the welfare of the workforce.
4. Structuring an inclusive worker social security system.
5. Collaboration between the government and companies in improving the quality of the workforce through capacity building programs for the workforce.
