UHC Tracking Research Audience with the Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Health

Improving Indonesian human resources in the health sector is one of the government's priority programs and is stated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 3. This increase can be measured from the health services received by the community and the costs that have been successfully minimized to access health services in accordance with the concept Universal Health Coverage (UHC). However, there is no study that specifically measures UHC in Indonesia comprehensively to the provincial level.

PRAKARSA took the initiative to conduct UHC measurement research up to the provincial level. As an effort to disseminate research results PRAKARSA have had hearings with Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Health on Tuesday, January 14 2020. A quite good reception was given by the ministry of health as a technical ministry. Collaboration in the field of research and development is very open in the future between PRAKARSA and the Ministry of Health's Balitbang and is expected to provide input for evidence-based policy improvements.
