Adhi Santika is an associate researcher at The PRAKARSA whose task is to assist primary researchers in aging issues. Adhi has two bachelor's degrees from Padjadjaran University, Bandung and Krisnadwipayana University, Jakarta. He received his master's degree from the Bogor Agricultural Institute, and his Ph.D degree from Michigan State University, USA.
Adhi has extensive work experience in various institutions and organizations, both national and international, which focus on elderly welfare issues. Currently, Adhi serves as Director of Strategy and Partnership Development at PT Sentra Warga Emas Utama, an information technology-based elderly services company, Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the SAHIRA Foundation Expert Team since 2021, Deputy General Chair for Legal and Elderly Protection, Management Great Association of Wredatama of the Republic of Indonesia, PB PWRI since 2022, Advisor for Aging at SETERRA Holding SDN BHD, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2023, Commissioner of PT Seterra Agung Jaya, an elderly services company since 2023, and Chair of the Muhammadiyah Senior Care (MSC) Piloting Team Premium.
Previously, Adhi had worked in various positions relevant to the field of elderly welfare, which gave him a deep understanding of issues related to the elderly population, including as Member of the National Commission on Elderly in 2008-2014, Consultant for International Institutions: WHO, UNDP, UNAIDS , and the Elderly and Financial Literacy Team, KOMPAK – Australian Aid in 2016. With rich work experience and in-depth knowledge, Adhi Santika continues to contribute to developing strategies and partnerships aimed at improving the welfare and lives of elderly people in Indonesia.
