Five-Year National Seminar on SDGs: How Far has Indonesia Go?

2020 is the fifth year of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, in its implementation in Indonesia, there are still various obstacles to achieving the SDGs, including the socialization and internalization of the SDGs at the regional and village levels. In addition, financing for the SDGs is also still limited due to low state revenues, both tax and non-tax sources.

The government needs to prioritize the implementation of several SDGs goals that will be able to leverage other SDGs goals. One of them is the agenda of poverty reduction. Welfare development carried out with a gender perspective can be an accelerator in achieving the SDGs. In addition, the government must also strive to socialize the SDGs so that all people in Indonesia are prosperous.
